The town of Oswestry was the birthplace of Wilfred Owen and a host of events are planned there to remember the centenary of the poet’s death in World War I and the end of the war on Armistice Day on the 11th November. A new brochure listing all the events is available here.

The Oswestry Wilfred Owen Festival 2018 website can be visited here.

There is a Wilfred Owen themed walk around the town which takes visitors to many of the places Owen would have known as a child. Download the walk brochure here.
