Inspiration for new drama
This unassuming notebook within the collections at Shropshire Archives, has inspired a brand new piece of drama.
The book records letters sent between six Shropshire women, against the background of the war, from 1917-1920. The friends had met while they were at school together in Bridgnorth but are now working as farmers, office workers, factory hands, nurses and teachers.
